Eat Up is "out and about"
In two weeks time, the weekend of the 11th & 12th of May, the "Friends of the Flaxmill Maltings" are hosting an open weekend. And we at Eat Up are catering it! Come along to explore the past, present and future of the world's first iron-framed building, entry is free for everyone. There are guided tours, activities for families, live music, art exhibitions and workshops, and while you're there, why not pop over to the Eat Up stall and say "hello", or stick around for a coffee and a hot sandwich or a yummy cake. We hope to see you there!!!
Plans for the Bank-Holiday?
Ah, the May bank holiday, my favourite time of year, the spring sun is shining (OK, I admit, I'm being wishful) and families are out enjoying themselves. What better way to spend your day than at the Hive's annual Community Street Festival, Monday 6th May at Belmont in the town centre. It's a free day for the whole family to enjoy, with performances, activities, live music, stalls, workshops, Maypole, crafts and lots more! And of course, some tasty treats provided by Eat Up!
